WHITE, Ga. — July 2026 — Heritage Pallets of Georgia today announced the appointment of Angelo M. Byrd as its first Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Byrd brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain management, and operational transformation. Throughout his career, he has led high-growth organizations, launched multimillion-dollar business units, improved operating performance, and built scalable operating models for both privately held companies and Fortune 500 organizations.

In his new role, Byrd will lead daily operations, drive strategic growth initiatives, strengthen financial and operational performance, and develop scalable business processes as Heritage continues to expand throughout the Southeast.

Prior to joining Heritage, Byrd held executive leadership positions with Dupré Logistics, J.B. Hunt Transport Services, G&S Logistics, and ARI Logistics, where he led transportation, operations, sales, and business development organizations. His background includes launching new business divisions, improving profitability, leading large multi-site operations, and developing high-performing teams.

As COO, Byrd will oversee operations, transportation, manufacturing support, sales execution, continuous improvement, and strategic planning, partnering with ownership to position Heritage for sustained growth.
